Products to Try for the New Year

It’s a new year, and one of the most common resolutions is to ‘try new things.’ Even if your new year resolution was to ‘spend less,’ I honestly think investing in higher quality products now will save you money in the long run. In light of this, I wanted to share a few products I’ve been loving recently:

• Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Oil
  • This is a highly-concentrated, weightless reparative styling oil which minimizes fly-aways and frizz and provides heat protection up to 450°. I’ve been using this for several weeks now and have noticed a significant improvement in the shine and softness of my hair, especially after straightening it. I like mixing two drops of Olaplex’s No. 7 Bonding Oil in with the No. 6 Styling Creme and applying the products to damp hair, letting it air dry naturally. I’ve tried many other hair oils, but I ultimately decided to stop using them because they weighed my hair down so much. No. 7 feels like absolutely nothing and leaves you with smooth, shiny, and soft hair – every woman’s dream!

• Olaplex No. 3 Hair Perfector
  • This treatment reduces breakage, strengthens hair, and restores its healthy appearance and texture. Apply a generous amount of this creme from roots to ends on unwashed, towel-dried hair, comb it through, leave the treatment on for at least ten minutes, rinse, and follow with shampoo and conditioner! This is perfect for anyone with damaged hair due to heat or color since it repairs, strengthens, and nourishes.

• Korres Hydra-Biome Probiotic Superdose Face Mask
  • This face mask is made with real Greek yogurt and probiotics which instantly comforts, relieves, and rebalances stressed skin. In less than fifteen minutes, the Korres Hydra-Biome Probiotic Superdose Face Mask leaves you with a glowing complexion. It’s formulated with three kinds of hyaluronic acid for superior hydration, bisabolol and ginger root extract to soothe dry skin, and a rich blend of shea butter, apricot oil, sweet almond oil, and aloe vera to nourish the skin. After washing and patting my face dry, I like to apply a thick layer of this on my skin and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. I saw results after just one use, and it’s quickly become a favorite mask of mine!

  • The first thing I noticed about this when I pulled it out of the package was how insanely soft it was. The Recliner Night Sleep Dress is an oversized, natural long-fiber sleep jersey that’s thermo-regulating and naturally deodorizing. Its boat neck design and straight cut body allow for easy movement and ventilation. I love putting this on right before bed and after having a warm cup of tea. I have this in an XS, and it’s, by far, the softest, comfiest, and most lightweight sleepwear item I own!
