Sephora VIB Sale Recommendations

The Sephora sale is finally here for Rouge and VIB members! If you’re a Beauty Insider, the sale starts for you tomorrow and ends on 11/15. Sephora has sales twice a year which give Rouge members 20% off, VIBs 15% off, and Beauty Insiders 10% off their entire purchase. This is a great time to restock any products that you’re running out of or to purchase anything you’ve been wanting to try, especially the pricier products.

Here are my product recommendations and things I purchased during the sale:

Recommendations

1. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder

This is a gorgeous finishing powder to top off your makeup. I use this every time I know I’ll be taking photos because it makes your makeup look naturally luminous.

2. Armani Luminous Silk Foundation

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk is a classic foundation loved by professional makeup artists and beauty gurus alike. As the product name suggests, it feels like silk on your skin and looks effortlessly natural and glowy.

3. Nars Soft Matte Concealer

This concealer has a creamy matte formula that’s perfect for hiding any texture or blemishes on your skin.

4. Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter

Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Flawless Filter is a gorgeous product that can either be applied as a primer under your foundation to create a filter-like appearance on your skin or as a glowy highlighter on top of your cheekbones.

5. Bareminerals Original Powder Foundation

This is my go-to foundation for when I need something quick and easy to apply and be out the door within 5 minutes. It’s medium-full coverage and doesn’t exacerbate any acne or dry patches on my skin.

6. Maison Margiela Replica By the Fireplace Fragrance

If you’re searching for a warm, cozy scent with a hint of spice, look no further! By the Fireplace has become my signature fragrance for the chilly winter months. The key notes are Clove Oil, Chestnut Accord, and Vanilla Accord. You’ll like this perfume if you’re a fan of YSL’s Black Opium.

7. Tocca Florence Hair Fragrance

The perfect balance between sweet and floral, Florence by Tocca is a delightful, feminine scent. The key notes are Italian Bergamot, Ivory Gardenia, and Blonde Wood.

Things I Purchased

1. Jo Malone Peony and Blush Suede

I’ve had my eye on this elegant perfume for a while and think it’s one of those rare fragrances that you can actually use year-round. The key notes are Red Apple, Peony, and Suede.

2. Charlotte Tilbury Matte Lipstick – Super Fabulous

I used Charlotte Tilbury’s Matte Lipstick in the shade Wedding Belles on my wedding day, and, seeing as it did not budge for the entire 16-hour day through crying, eating, and some more crying, I’ve officially committed to exclusively using her lipsticks. Super Fabulous is described as a nude rosewood shade which seems like it would match well with my medium skin tone in the fall/winter months.

3. Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Liner – Iconic Nude

I also used Charlotte Tilbury’s lip liners on my wedding day, so I have a similar reason to the above for purchasing another one of her lip liners. They glide on your lips so smoothly and truly stay put all day without feeling dry. Iconic Nude is described as a true nude shade that I think would pair well with Super Fabulous.

4. Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Setting Powder

Can you tell that I’m obsessed with Charlotte Tilbury’s products? I’ve heard raving reviews about this setting powder which supposedly blurs texture and imperfections to make your face look airbrushed. I’m excited to see how well it works and if it lives up to the hype!

5. Maison Margiela Replica Beach Walk Fragrance

Lastly, I decided to try Maison Margiela’s Beach Walk fragrance which has top notes of Bergamot, Heliotrope, and Coconut Milk. I love how fragrance has the ability to instantly recall memories, and since I have many fond memories from the beach, I thought this would be a good fragrance to have.
